J’y suis jamais allé

Ah, Sunday again.

This final school week was quite chaotic, but finally, I have arrived at my vacation location – Gran Canaria :D The flight with Ryanair was less than great (they have incredibly strict rules and enforce them like the Germans of old). After a 4.5 hour flight I was greeted with (literally) open arms by my little cute 4-year-old cousin. She was so happy to see me! It was really quite adorable.

Anyway, yesterday I picked up the boyfriend, who flew in two days later (due to his brother’s graduation, we booked our tickets and an hour later he announced his graduation was the same day… lol). He had had a much better flight than I, luckily.

Today we’re going to the beach and have fun, so this isn’t going to be a long rant today!

Also, thanks to all the people who voted on my poll yesterday, the stats really are very interesting! :D I’ll make the stats public later this week.

And of course the articles I enjoyed this week…

Hi Manon. I’ll be thinking of you on the beach. Please have tons of vicarious fun for me. Will be publishing about the Second Opium War this morning. Thanks so much for the shout out. You consistently have the most interesting mashups, and Holmes & I are honored to be a part of it.

Hi Piper, thanks :D We had loads of fun! It was wonderful and I tanned so much (which of course was my ulterior motive to go to the beach :p)

You’re very welcome and thank you too! :) All the best!
