I Set Fire to the Rain
This Sunday’s theme song is Adele’s Set Fire to the Rain. Mon Voyage En France We drove all the way to the south of France in one day, which was a 15 hour drive in our Mazda Miata convertible and it was excruciatingly hot. But it was worth it. We had a great time! We went sight-seeing a little, here and there. We went to the beach once (it was an hour or so away), we went to swim in a river once (which was closer), we spent some time at the pool at the house… And now I actually have a tan! And yes, it be Sunday again! Today I’d like to discuss guilty pleasures. I always thought I didn’t really have one, but I do. I absolutely ADORE this website TomandLorenzo.com. It’s a blog written by a gay married couple, who post approximately six blogs a day (impressive, right). These blogs are on fashion (my favorite is their red carpet commentary), reality TV (although I only read the posts on Project Runway, I’m a fan) and television shows (they covered Lost, V, Mad Men, Glee, you name it). What I love is that they’re incredibly sharp, open-minded and witty! They usually make me laugh at least once a day. I Put On My Best Sunday Dress
Time for another Casual Sunday post! Perhaps you’ve seen I mentioned “Queen’s Day” a couple of times on Twitter in the past few days. Queen’s Day, or Koninginnedag, is a Dutch holiday, celebrated on April 30th. Queen’s Night is celebrated the night before. Basically, what Queen’s Day entails is that everyone, nationwide, has a day off. Most people spend the day one of our bigger cities (like in Utrecht, where I live) to enjoy all the events that are organized (lots of music and fun festivities).
