J’y suis jamais allé
Ah, Sunday again. This final school week was quite chaotic, but finally, I have arrived at my vacation location – Gran Canaria The flight with Ryanair was less than great (they have incredibly strict rules and enforce them like the Germans of old). After a 4.5 hour flight I was greeted with (literally) open arms by my little cute 4-year-old cousin. She was so happy to see me! It was really quite adorable. Anyway, yesterday I picked up the boyfriend, who flew in two days later (due to his brother’s graduation, we booked our tickets and an hour later he announced his graduation was the same day… lol). He had had a much better flight than I, luckily. Today we’re going to the beach and have fun, so this isn’t going to be a long rant...
I’m in the Grip of a Hurricane
Sunday again – already. Thursday morning I leave for Gran Canaria, but it still feels like it’s ages away. However, if I consider how fast time flew last week, Thursday will be here before I know it. I’m sorry I haven’t been posting as many blogs as I should have this week, but at least I have a good excuse! Clearly, the studying and writing for uni kept me highly distracted, but I also attended a wedding this weekend. I still have *one* more assignment to hand in and I’m not motivated to work on it at all. Last Friday my boyfriend’s cousin married, and it was quite wonderful. It was the first wedding I had attended that I’ll actually remember. The dress was beautiful and while before I didn’t really feel the need to...
Like the Sunday we met
And it’s Sunday again, just like that! You know, I always wish I could sing, but I really can’t. When I sing, it even hurts my own ears. However, this does not make me love music any less whatsoever. Actually, I love music. And I love a capella music, and choirs, too. They do make me a little envious though. Because I don’t want to be alone in my envy, I’d like to share this video. So amazing, right?! I have to announce that I’ll be around a little less than usual in the next few weeks; University is coming to an end before summer break and I have to hand in 4 assignments, do two presentations and have two exams. I will have a little less time than normal to blog and tweet and write… alas, that’s the life of a student!...
Another Pleasant Valley Sunday
And yes, it be Sunday again! Today I’d like to discuss guilty pleasures. I always thought I didn’t really have one, but I do. I absolutely ADORE this website TomandLorenzo.com. It’s a blog written by a gay married couple, who post approximately six blogs a day (impressive, right). These blogs are on fashion (my favorite is their red carpet commentary), reality TV (although I only read the posts on Project Runway, I’m a fan) and television shows (they covered Lost, V, Mad Men, Glee, you name it). What I love is that they’re incredibly sharp, open-minded and witty! They usually make me laugh at least once a day. If I haven’t read their blog for a couple of days, I’ll make a cup of tea, sit down and just read all the blogs...
